Senior Cosmetologist, Educator, and Lifelong Learner

A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, Latheena has been shaping young minds in Baltimore City Public Schools since 2011. As a Platform Artist and Educator for Basic(s) Inc., she specializes in advanced hair extension techniques, precision haircutting, and makeup artistry.

She continues to provide transformative services, including hair weaving for clients experiencing alopecia, at the renowned Red Dream Creators Studio. Latheena is dually licensed by the MSDE as a CTE and Special Educator, currently pursuing her Master's in Contemporary Educational Leadership at Coppin State University.

Cosmetology Educator (Room 3105)

Maria brings over 30 years of experience across all areas of cosmetology, making her a distinguished figure in the beauty industry. Her extensive expertise spans hair styling, coloring, nails, skincare, and specialized services like micro-link extensions.

Her career highlights include serving as a traveling educator for Joico/ISO products, sharing her knowledge with professionals nationwide. Maria is also a trusted stylist for weddings and special events, passionate about fostering growth and essential salon skills in her students to ensure they achieve excellence in their careers.
